Portanuova is a performance series staged on long distance moving public transport vehicles, using these vessels as para-stages to explore the social contracts, poetics, and alternative modes of being within their interior architectures. Through acts of disruption, appropriation, and repetition, the performers test and score forms of intimacy within these mobile immobilities, while moving across European transport corridors.The series are curated by Ella Prokkola and Paula Veidenbauma.
